SC State's McFadden granted 6th year by NCAA

     South Carolina State middle linebacker Marshall McFadden was officially granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA Tuesday afternoon.
     McFadden confirmed that he received the news from the NCAA via phone call just after 5 p.m.,
     The senior Bulldog standout, who missed all of last season following a devastating wrist injury, is expected to be one of the top playmakers on a SC State defense that already returns talented linebackers Julius Wilkerson, David Erby, LaTaris Douglas and Donovan Richard.
